Author Biography:
Menna Machreth studied Welsh Language at The University of Aberystwyth and was President of the Welsh Students’ Union in 2006-7. She continued her studies at Bangor University where she gained an MA and a doctorate at the School of Welsh. She now lives in Caernarfon with her family. She was the editor of ‘Codi Llais’ (Y Lolfa).
Emily Kimbell is an illustrator and colourist for publishing and animation.
She begin her career in the world of animation; designing on point-and-click games and animated TV shows in studios across the UK, eventually moving to Ireland to work as a background artist with Lighthouse Studios in Kilkenny.
As her illustration style developed, her work expanded into publishing, including books with David Fickling Books, Oxford University Press & Penguin Random House. Emily now lives in Wales.
